I found my Marcos on Internent september 2015. It was standing in a greenhouse in small town south of Gothenburg, Sweden.
The car was sold to Mr. Goldberg, living outside New York in 1968. I believe the car was sold to a guy living in Florida in 1972, and after a couple of year the car was moved to Venice , California, and then it had run about 30125 miles. During this period the engine was converted to a Mazda wankel-engine, uhhhhh In 2014 the car was sold to a guy living in Nevada, this is what he wrote in the Marcos forum:

"Recent injury and the sour U.S. business climate have put me in a spot. So I'm reluctantly putting my 1967 wood chassis 1600 GT No. 5159 and Series II Land-Rover up for sale since they are the furthest from completion. In the end the intent is to only sell one or the other, whichever goes first.
The Marcos is a very low mile LHD car in need of complete restoration. The wood chassis will need repair but I think it can be saved.
Factory LHD so so excellent for the continent. I've made some small progress in gathering proper parts while I've had it.
Originally came to me with a horrid Mazzzda rotary engine conversion. I now have an unmolested U.S. spec Kent 711M engine, twin DCOE intake, and two T9 gearboxes for it. Also a freshly restored set of Libra style 13" x 5" Shelby American wheels.
Car has very low mileage with only 32000 on the 140 MPH speedometer. Except for the prior engine swap the car is very original and complete.
Original tail lamps, "Roll bar", interior with all lamps, etc. Two sets of front bumpers, new headlamp covers and gaskets. It will need new front and rear screens."
It's a complete project, but has a clear California US title so can be shipped anywhere. If I'm to give up the car I will have no real use for the Kent engine or T9 boxes. Those parts were fairly expensive as they are hard to get here in the U.S. Everything Marcos appears to hard to get from here, working from the wrong side of the exchange rate, and it seems most UK companies do not respond to email.
Final price will have to be negotiated depending on what goes with it. Everything I bought for it was expensive in addition to what I originally paid for the Marcos. $ XX USD for all will almost let me break even, ignoring the devaluation of dollar value due to inflation.
I have a lot of pics I can send, they make it look worse that it is, been sitting since about 1972.
